You're finally free!

You finally have a place of your own and you couldn't feel more free. You're rules are your own. Your time is your own. You couldn't be happier. Congratulations!

But now taking care of yourself is also your own and not everything comes with an instruction manual. Most people have to learn all the cool cute tips by trial and error but from here we're going to take some of the trial out and the sting of the mistakes as well.  No matter what you learned at home there will always be that one more thing that makes you want to call Dad for advice.

That is what this blog is for. As the entries stack up I will be tackling cool and easy tips for all sorts of life's little curve balls. These will include but not be limited to:

Food: Yeah food! You know you need to eat but you live on a budget and need a few tips for cool and easy eats. I will post family recipes and tricks that help you become your personal house chef.

Bills: What are these things that keep coming in the mail demanding your hard earned money? I'll be touching on budget tips and the pitfalls to avoid in getting yourself set up for your financial future. They won't be fortune 500s but you'll have an easier time.

Cleaning: Housework sucks and some cleanup jobs defy reality. I'm going to post how to clean up some of the toughest messes with the least elbow grease and frustration.

Parenting: Yep, even parenting. I realize some of you are getting an early start in parenting. I'll touch on tips for babies and early life that will have you sleeping easier and baby too.

Legal issues: I'll be researching handling issues with the law to keep you ready for the possibilities. Even speeding tickets.

Self Defense: You wouldn't believe how many ways you have to or may have to defend yourself in the world. This will be coming from 19 years of law enforcement and security experience.
